cat\u00e9gorie : vanille Tahitensis,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><em>The General Agricultural Competition<\/em><\/h1>\n<p><em>Created in 1870 , <b>Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole<\/b> aims to select and reward the best local French products and the best breeding animals.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>It includes 3 major competitions:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>the Animal Competition<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>the Products and Wine Competition<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>the Judging Competition<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>which take place each year as part of the<\/em> <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.salon-agriculture.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Agricultural Show<\/a><\/em> <em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Because it is organized under the control of the State and follows a rigorous process of preselections and selections, the Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole is recognized for its impartiality and the value of the results.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Indeed, each year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food defines the rules of the competition, through the regulations available on this site, and the Ministry&#8217;s External Services (DDT) control the collection of product samples.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\n<p><em>An ambassador of the wealth and quality of French heritage<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><em>Recognized and widely publicized, the Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole constitutes a unique springboard for local products, dairy products, wines and a demonstration of the excellence of French genetics.<\/p>\n<p>For candidates, participating in the Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole means benefiting from additional legitimacy with their profession and the general public.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>\n<p><em>The competition in figures&#8230;<\/em><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<em>6 animal species represented: cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses and canines<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>120 breeds and more than 2,000 animals presented<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1,000 participating breeders<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>3,666 products of farm, artisanal or industrial origin<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>2,000 tasters dedicated to the selection of these products<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1,039 award-winning products<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>15,000 wine samples<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>2,000 experts<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>3,551 award-winning wines<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">Presentation of the product competition<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h1><em><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole aims to select and reward the best local French products, whether they come from:<\/span><\/em><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;
